Intraoral Cameras

Instead of wondering what it is your dentist sees when looking in your mouth, we can easily show you using a Daryou intraoral camera. This camera-tipped, handheld device takes multiple images of your teeth and gums, displaying them on a monitor so you can see. This allows us to easily identify any problem areas while also helping you to better understand why treatment is recommended.

All-Digital X-Rays

Traditional film is no longer the preferred option for dentists. Instead, we use Nomad all-digital X-rays that not only emit less radiation but also deliver higher-resolution images in significantly less time. With no darkrooms needed, we can quickly capture pictures of your oral structures and store them digitally, making the retrieval process much easier later on. And because the images are much clearer, our team can better view and evaluate your teeth, gums, bite, and jaw for improved treatment planning.

CBCT

While digital X-rays are important and helpful when looking at certain areas of your mouth, our Sirona CBCT scanner makes it possible for us to look more closely at various components of your oral and facial structures. The device’s arm rotates 360 degrees around your head to capture hundreds of images that come together to create a 3D model of your bite and jawbone structure. Because of the intricate details of the model, we can better plan for dental implant placement and similar complex procedures.

Digital Impression System

If you never enjoyed biting into cold dental putty, you no longer need to worry. At Mayberry Dental, we use Omnicam and Primescan digital impression systems that scan the mouth and generate a three-dimensional model. We then make any necessary adjustments before having a customized restoration fabricated in our in-house lab. This makes the process easier, less messy, and more efficient for our team and our patients.

Soft Tissue Laser Dentistry

Instead of relying on traditional scalpels and sutures, we use the Odyssey soft tissue laser. This uniquely designed piece of technological equipment makes it easy to target specific gum tissues that need to be removed. The concentrated beam of light creates no noise or vibration, and it emits no heat, ensuring a more positive experience for patients while it cuts. But because it cauterizes at the same time, there is minimal bleeding and swelling, and a reduced risk of infection.
