We are proud to offer our non-surgical periodontal therapy to patients who exhibit the signs of gum disease. Bleeding gums after using a toothpick is a sure sign of active gum disease. Here is a simple test you can use at home to determine how healthy your gums are. Simply take a round wooden toothpick and push it firmly between your back teeth and then remove it and watch the area where it was inserted. If bleeding occurs from in between the teeth, this is a sure sign of periodontal disease. People with healthy gums can do this and there is no bleeding at all.

Remember, absence of pain is no indicator of healthy teeth or gums.

We offer 5 non-surgical periodontal treatment protocols customized for individual patient categories, A-E. We have saved many patients thousands of dollars for unneeded, painful gum surgery. Our goal is to help all our patients become "A's" if they are not yet there. This is a realistic goal no matter what the patients previous history. Our periodontal disease prevention programs work where others have failed if the patient is willing to change old habits, and dental floss is not even an issue since there are better more effective means to get gums healthy, and easier to use than dental floss.
